Refund Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

At GetYourCA, we strive to deliver quality services and ensure complete satisfaction. This Refund Policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and clearly communicate your entitlements when a service does not go as expected.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to all paid services offered through the GetYourCA platform at https://getyourca.in, including but not limited to: • Income Tax Return (ITR) filing services • GST registration and return filing • Company, LLP, and OPC incorporation • Trademark and intellectual property services • Compliance packages and annual filing services • Advisory and CA consultation services This Policy is to be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy available at https://getyourca.in.

2. Refund Eligibility – At a Glance

The following table summarises your refund entitlement based on the stage of work completion at the time of your cancellation request: | Stage of Work | Refund Amount | |-------------|-------------| | Before work begins | 100% refund | | Up to 25% complete | 75% refund | | 25% - 50% complete | 50% refund | | Over 50% complete | No refund | Note: "Work commencement" means the point at which a CA or team member has been assigned to your case and has begun reviewing your documents or information. We will notify you when your case is assigned.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel your order before any work has commenced, you are entitled to a full 100% refund of the service fee paid. To qualify for a full refund under this clause: • You must notify us within 24 hours of placing the order, OR before a CA or team member has been assigned to your case — whichever is earlier. • Your cancellation request must be submitted by email to connect@getyourca.in with your order ID and reason for cancellation. • Refunds under this section will be processed within 7 business days of confirmation.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Begun

4.1 Up to 25% Completion – 75% Refund

If work has begun but is at an early stage (up to 25% complete), you are eligible for a refund of 75% of the service fee. At this stage, initial document review and basic processing may have occurred.

4.2 25% to 50% Completion – 50% Refund

If work is between 25% and 50% complete — for example, draft documents have been prepared or preliminary filings have been initiated — you are eligible for a refund of 50% of the service fee.

4.3 Over 50% Completion – No Refund

Once more than 50% of the work has been completed, no refund will be issued. This includes cases where a filing has been submitted to a government portal, documents have been delivered to you, or the service has been substantially rendered. Completion percentage will be assessed by GetYourCA in good faith and communicated to you in writing upon your refund request. If you dispute the assessment, you may raise a grievance under Section 9.

5. Full Refund – Special Circumstances

Notwithstanding the above, you are entitled to a full 100% refund of the service fee in the following circumstances, regardless of work stage: 5.1 Platform or Technical Failure If GetYourCA's platform or systems experience a technical failure that prevents service delivery, and the issue is not resolved within a reasonable timeframe, a full refund will be issued. 5.2 Duplicate Payment If you are charged more than once for the same service due to a payment gateway error or system glitch, the duplicate amount will be fully refunded. Please report duplicate payments immediately to connect@getyourca.in. 5.3 Wrong Plan Purchased If you have purchased an incorrect service plan and our team confirms that no work has commenced on that plan, a full refund of that plan's fee will be issued. You may then purchase the correct plan separately. 5.4 Inability to Assign Expert If GetYourCA is unable to assign a qualified CA or expert to your case within a reasonable timeframe, and you choose to cancel as a result, a full refund will be issued.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following charges are strictly non-refundable under any circumstance: • Government fees paid on your behalf — including GST registration fees, MCA filing fees, ROC charges, trademark filing fees, and any other statutory charges remitted to government authorities. • Third-party costs — including Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) charges, stamp duty, notarisation fees, or any other third-party service charges incurred on your behalf. • Consultation fees — once a scheduled consultation or advisory session has been conducted, the consultation fee is non-refundable. • GST charged on service fees — Goods and Services Tax collected on our service fees is deposited with the government and cannot be refunded to you even in cases of eligible refunds. • Convenience or platform access fees, if separately charged. Important: Government and third-party fees are collected by GetYourCA only as a facilitation agent and are paid directly to the relevant authority or provider. These amounts are outside GetYourCA's control and cannot be recovered once remitted.

7. Forfeiture of Refund Eligibility

Your refund eligibility may be forfeited in the following circumstances: • You are unreachable on all modes of communication for 30 or more consecutive days after placing an order, without prior notice to us. • You fail to provide required documents or information within 30 days of being requested, without a valid reason, causing the service to lapse. • You provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information, leading to incorrect or invalid filings. • You request a refund after a filing or submission has been made to a government authority on your behalf. • Your conduct towards GetYourCA staff or assigned professionals is abusive, threatening, or in violation of our Terms of Service.

8. Force Majeure

GetYourCA shall not be liable for delays or non-delivery of services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: • Government portal downtime (e.g., Income Tax e-filing portal, GST portal, MCA21 system outages) • Natural disasters, pandemics, or civil unrest • Internet or power failures affecting our systems • Changes in government regulations, filing deadlines, or portal requirements In such cases, GetYourCA will make reasonable efforts to complete the service once the disruption is resolved. Refunds will not be issued solely on grounds of delay caused by force majeure events. However, if the service cannot be delivered at all due to such events, a full refund will be considered.
